1)Registering

Gorillaz-Unofficial news is part of the site Livejournal.com . If you have your own Livejournal, then just log in to that in the 'comments' page, if not, then read on to learn how to get a profile.

To get a profile, go to the page www.livejournal.com (or click the link to open a profile on a new page).
At the top of the page, you'll see a 'Welcome' button. Highlight this and click the 'Create an Account' option that appears.
You will be taken to a 'Create New Journal' page.
Here enter a username, your email address (for verification), a password, your age, and select 'free account' in the account choice selection. Click the box to indicate you've read the terms of service, and then lastly enter the code at the bottom of the page to prove you are a human!

You will then be taken to a 'Edit Personal Information' page. Enter any information you like about yourself. Other visitors to Gorillaz-Unofficial can read this information and find out about your interests and so on (so only put things you're comfortable with everyone else seeing).

Now comes the last part of registration. Go to the email account that you entered in your registration information. You will have an email from Livejournal. Click the verification link in the email and your registration is complete!

2)Getting a User Picture

To get a user picture that will appear by your comments (do this after you have registered an account), go to www.livejournal.com, sign in with your username and password in the box provided, and then click on the 'Manage' button, then click 'Info'. This will bring up your 'Edit Personal Information' screen. Scroll down until you see the 'Your Picture' section. Click on the 'go here' option below this to upload a picture. You can upload a picture that is on your hard drive by then selecting the 'from file' option (but bear in mind the size restrictions which appear on this page). Alternatively you can link to a picture that is on the web by using the 'from URL' option.

3)Making a Comment using your Profile

Once you've registered your profile and added a picture if you like, you can comment with this name on any news item on Gorillaz-Unofficial! When you want to make a comment, simply click 'add comment' on the news item you want to comment on. Then the comment box will come up. Enter your message along with your username and password and your comment will be attached with your username and picture!
